NCH Orthopedic Services
 

The NCH Orthopaedic Center of Excellence specializes in total hip and knee replacement surgery but also includes traumatic fracture repair and other orthopaedic surgeries. These procedures take place at both campuses, Downtown Naples Hospital Campus and North Naples Hospital Campus, in specialized patient care units.

A recent study of Medicare patients named NCH Healthcare System the #1 busiest hospital in Florida for joint replacement surgery and the fourth in the country.

We perform more than 1,800 total joint replacement procedures annually, by board certified Orthopaedic surgeons, trained at some of the most prestigious programs in the country.
Orthopaedic surgery will enable you to improve your quality of life by relieving your pain. Your joint replacement will allow you to return to a more active life-style. This procedure is recommended based on a careful diagnosis of the patient's joint problem including their depth of pain, lack of mobility and its impact on his/her daily activity.
 
Joint replacement is a surgical procedure in which the diseased parts of the joint are removed and replaced with new artificial parts called prosthesis. The surgeon will determine what prosthesis is best for you. Special care and rehabilitation must be taken after surgery for optimal recovery. Almost all patients have a good or an excellent result with this type of surgery.

The NCH Healthcare System is a not-for-profit, multi-facility healthcare system located in Naples, Florida, United States. The System is more than just two hospitals (referred to as the NCH Downtown Naples Hospital, and NCH North Naples Hospital) with a total of 715 beds. The NCH Healthcare System is an alliance of 650 physicians and medical facilities in dozens of locations throughout Collier County and southwest Florida. The services offered by the NCH Healthcare System are extensive. Inpatient services include: medical, surgical, cardiac, orthopedic, obstetric, pediatric, rehabilitative, psychiatric, oncology, emergency treatment, and diagnostics. Outpatient services include: rehabilitation, home care, walk-in centers, wound healing, and more. This year the system had 37,284 admissions, 87,100 emergency room visits, 3,033 births, 416 open heart surgeries, 11,282 surgical procedures, and 3,000 employee colleagues. NCH is a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
