Welcome to the Shick Heart Center
Cardiac Catheterization is an invasive diagnostic test to determine the condition of your coronary arteries and the internal structure of your heart. The procedure is done in an operating laboratory with x-ray equipment, the cardiologist along with specially trained nurses and technicians. The procedure can be done as an outpatient or inpatient depending on the condition of your health. This diagnostic tool is beneficial in assisting the cardiologist with an appropriate treatment plan.
