Curriculum
The clinical curriculum consists of 13 four-week blocks. Each resident completes the core clinical rotations and additional specialty track rotations aimed at advanced residency preparation.
PGY-1 Curriculum
- Inpatient Wards – 12 weeks
- Night Medicine – 4 weeks
- Medical ICU – 4 weeks
- Surgery – 4 weeks
- Emergency Medicine – 4 weeks
- Simulation – 2 weeks
- Ambulatory – 4 weeks
- Electives – 14 weeks
- Vacation – 4 weeks

- EKG & Chest X-ray
- Didactics are held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 p.m.
- Grand Rounds are held every Thursday at 7:30 a.m.
