About Dr. Frank

Dr. Frank received his undergraduate degree from Long Island University in Brookville, New York, followed by his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. Dr. Frank then completed both an internship and residency in internal medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. After completing his residency, Dr. Frank remained at Winthrop University Hospital for back-to-back fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology.

Dr. Frank holds licenses in both New York and Florida and is certified by the Council of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is certified as a Diplomat in both cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. Dr. Frank has completed research pertaining to acute catheterization and urgent intervention triage strategy and has participated in research for multiple cardiology clinical trials. He has expertise in complex percutaneous coronary interventions with special training in chronic total occlusions. Dr. Frank specializes in structural heart interventions for stroke risk prevention including PFO/ASD and Watchman LAA device closure. He also provides catheter-based hemodynamic support for critically ill patients with cardiogenic shock, complex high risk coronary stent procedures, or open-heart surgery.

Born in Huntington, New York, Dr. Frank has practiced in the cardiology field for more than a decade. He brings great strength to our practice in the area of interventional cardiology and is committed to contributing great advancements to this specialty.
