About Dr. Tassin

Dr. Tassin completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida. She then remained at the University of Florida to complete her medical degree, her residency in internal medicine, and her fellowships in cardiology stem cell therapy, advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation and cardiology.

Dr. Tassin is board-certified in adult echocardiography, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine and is also actively certified in advanced cardiac life support and basic life support. Dr. Tassin has been presented with numerous awards for her outstanding achievements in the field of cardiology. Her clinical interests include cardio-obstetrics, heart failure, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, left ventricular assist device management (LVAD) and valvular heart disease.

Dr. Tassin is a Florida native who was raised in Southwest Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking with her husband and three children. She has enjoys traveling and has participated in extensive medical mission work in the Dominican Republic.
