Dr. Deutsch completed his undergraduate degree with honors at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. He went to medical school at the Georgia School of Medicine. Following medical school, he completed an internal medicine residency at University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. After residency, Dr. Deutsch completed a chief cardiology fellowship at the University of California Riverside and an interventional cardiology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College in Manhattan, New York.

Dr. Deutsch is board certified in cardiology, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine and has more than ten years of experience in cardiology. Dr. Deutsch received the Outstanding Cardiology Fellow Award from the University of California Riverside in 2019. He is also a four-time recipient of the VA Gold Star for Excellence in Patient Care award from the James. A Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Deutsch joins us from Lee Health in Fort Myers and he enjoys providing quality healthcare to the residents of Southwest Florida.
