Don’t Get Caught Without Coverage on January 1
Free Informational Seminar at NCH Will Help You Know All Your Medicare Options
Florida Blue and Cigna have recently announced they are discontinuing primary care coverage for patients using their Medicare Advantage. That means on January 1, 2025, thousands of Southwest Florida residents will need to find new coverage to maintain in-network benefits with their trusted NCH primary care doctor. Fortunately, patients have options, and NCH is teaming up with area insurance brokers to help you learn more about them.
If you are a current Medicare beneficiary, approaching Medicare age, or a caregiver for someone who is, we invite you to join us on Monday, November 4, from 3pm to 5pm in our Telford Auditorium on the campus of NCH Baker Hospital for a free, informational seminar.
NCH leaders will talk about changes in the healthcare landscape for Medicare patients, the differences between Medicare products—regular Medicare versus Medicare Advantage plans and the host of supplemental plans—and several options that maintain access to primary and specialty care. Attendees will also have the opportunity to talk directly with area insurance brokers in a no-pressure environment to learn about their particular products and get answers to their Medicare questions. Light refreshments will be provided.
NCH is committed to helping residents of our region live longer, healthier and happier lives. We are committed to giving you the information you need to find healthcare options that provide the best care at the best value for you and for the people you care about most.
