Great Naples Duck Race

Drowning is a silent killer that only takes seconds, unlike what you see in the movies.

Here are a few statistics:

  • Drowning is the leading cause of death among children ages 1-4 in Florida.
  • In 2021, there were 97 fatal pediatric drownings in Florida, the highest recorded year since DCF began collecting data.

NCH’s Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition is extremely proud to share ZERO pediatric drowning deaths for 2021 in Collier County.

Support our Great Naples Duck Race Team to help us save more children.

Money raised through the duck race supports teaching the layers of protection and offering free swim lessons to area children.

For more information about layers of protection, please visit Drowning Prevention – Water Smart Collier.
