- Left Atrial Appendage Closure (Watchman)
- Mitral Regurgitation
- Mitral Stenosis
- Mitral Valve Prolapse
- Paravalvular Leaks
- Patent Ductus Arteriosum (PDA)
- Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO)
- Pulmonic Regurgitation
- Pulmonic Stenosis
- Rheumatic Heart Disease
- Tricuspid Regurgitation
- Tricuspid Stenosis

Clinical Research Trials
As a Center of Excellence in Structural and Valvular Heart Disease we offer patients access to the latest clinical trials and innovative treatment options. Our program has been recognized as one of the only Heart Programs in the region with access to over 40 cardiovascular clinical trials, including some in the realm of transcatheter valve therapies:
- TRISCEND II Trial (Evoque – Tricuspid Valve)
- TRISCEND CAS Registry (Evoque – Tricuspid Valve)
- CLASP TR II Trial (Pascal TEER)
- CLASP IIF (PASCAL TEER)
- ENCIRCLE Trial (Mitral Valve Replacement)
- PFO Closure (GORE)
- REPAIR MR Trial (Mitraclip vs Surgery)
- REPAIR MR Trial (Mitraclip vs Surgery)
Our Team
Our Patient-Centered Multispecialty Cardiac Team is best represented by a group of highly skilled operators and stellar clinicians from top organizations. Under the leadership of Dr. Robert J. Cubeddu, President, NCH Rooney Heart Institute, we have expanded our Center of Excellence to include expertise in transcatheter valve therapies, minimally invasive open-heart surgery, cardiovascular critical care intensivists, heart failure specialists, cardiac anesthesiology, advanced cardiac imaging and mechanical circulatory support.
