Operations Manager
Hope Goodwin was born and raised in Naples, FL. Hope has been working at NCH since 2004 in various roles, but mainly the Emergency Dept and most recently Operations Manager of the Simulation Center.
During her time at NCH, she has co-investigated pediatric trauma research with Dr Carmen Ramos and completed a yearlong leadership academy training that was funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Hope started volunteering at NCH when she was 17 years old at OPIS. She was inspired by the nurses at OPIS which was part of the driving force to complete her master’s degree in Nursing Education (MSN).

My professional medical journey started in The Bahamas, where I was raised. My passion for healthcare began in 2012 when I started as a junior medical assistant at The Bahamas Food Centre. I continued to grow my skills and experience in the podiatrist office until I moved to Naples, Florida in 2018.
My career continued to evolve when I joined NCH as a patient transporter in December 2019. While working as a lead transporter, I continued to fuel my passion by completing the surgical technology program at Lorenzo Walker Technical College, which led to my successful certification as a Surgical Technologist.
After working as a CST at NCH North Naples Hospital, I am now honored to serve as the coordinator of the Judith & Marvin Herb Family Simulation Center. I am excited about the opportunities this new role presents and look forward to contributing to the advancement of healthcare training and simulation.
