63rd Hospital Ball - The Healing Garden
Saturday, April 2, 2022
The NCH Healthcare System will be holding its signature NCH Hospital Ball, The Healing Garden, Saturday, April 2, 2022 at The Ritz Carlton, Naples.
The gala will be themed The Healing Garden and promises an elegant evening of inspiration and fun. Guests will be transported to a magical garden where they will enjoy entertainment, a cocktail reception, silent and live auction, formal dinner and dancing. The evening also will recognize NCH Physician of the Year and Nurses of the Year honorees and include a special recognition of the healthcare heroes who serve our community with courage and grace.
Ball proceeds will benefit The Judith and Marvin Herb Family Simulation Center at NCH. The new 10,000-square-foot simulation center will deliver state-of-the-art medical simulation training that promises to elevate NCH patient care to new heights of excellence. The Center’s astonishingly human-like robotic “patients” provide real world medical scenarios that allow NCH medical interns and other medical personnel to perform procedures while experiencing the simulated physical and even emotional responses of their robotic “patients.” The new center will be located at the NCH Baker Hospital Downtown.
Tickets are $500 per person. Call (239) 624-2019 for more information and to purchase your tickets today!

Dianna and Dr. Doug Harrington
As Medical Director of the
multi-disciplinary simulation center,
Dr. Harrington notes, “The Herb Family Simulation Center will be a valuable resource to educate new healthcare staff and keep the staff across all disciplines updated and proficient in maintaining procedural skills, optimizing teamwork and communication skills and improving patient care and outcomes.”
The Herb Family Simulation Center was slated to be the beneficiary of last year’s Hospital Ball, which transitioned to a smaller-scale virtual celebration due to the pandemic. Organizers say the Ball, the longest-running charity event in Naples, will be appropriately characterized by vivid colors, warm décor and a joyful ambience to bring supporters together again.

About the Hospital Ball
Since the first NCH Hospital Ball in 1958, philanthropic support from our community has had a transformational effect on the growth of NCH; from a small nonprofit 50-bed hospital, to a nationally recognized 716-bed, two hospital healthcare system. Specifically, proceeds from the annual Ball allow NCH to advance patient care initiatives and provide life-saving services in a number of critical areas including; cardiology, stroke, pediatrics and emergency care.
