The new era of orthopedic care in Southwest Florida just got an infusion of $7.5 million from the Kapnick Foundation whose generous donation will support construction of our new orthopedic surgical center. NCH is currently building a one-of-a-kind, 120,000-square-foot facility for its partnership with the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), ranked No. 1 in the world for orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report. The facility will house comprehensive services, from imaging to rehabilitation to non-surgical and surgical interventions, supporting a whole-body, team-based approach to personalized patient care.
The ambulatory surgical center located inside the building will be named after the Kapnick Foundation.
“Naples is a special community,” says Scott Kapnick, who is a member of the HSS Board of Trustees and whose foundation has previously supported facilities expansion on HSS’ main campus in New York. “Kathleen and I are excited to help make the vision of providing greater access to best-in-class musculoskeletal care a reality for those in Southwest Florida.”
NCH President and CEO Paul Hiltz says, “This gift will help us deliver the outstanding services that patients within this community need and deserve.”
