Local Florida hospital campuses install flood barriers after Hurricane Ian

Naples Comprehensive Health is strengthening its storm preparedness efforts by installing modular flood barriers at two southwest Florida hospital campuses following lessons learned from Hurricane Ian. In partnership with AquaFence, the system includes nearly 800 linear feet of protection designed to safeguard critical areas like emergency entrances and service zones. The initiative aims to ensure uninterrupted patient care during future flooding events, building on past experience where operations remained active despite infrastructure damage.
