NCH has implemented senior-friendly improvements, including assisted walking devices, hearing assistance devices, prescription reading glasses, quiet treatment spaces, and color-coded socks designed to help prevent falls.
With adults over 65 accounting for a quarter of all U.S. emergency room visits, NCH’s approach aims to improve the emergency care experience for older patients and their families.
