Thanks to Collier County Community & Human Services Division and the U.S. Department of the Treasury, NCH received a grant through the American Rescue Plan to reimburse NCH for expenses related to treating patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the pandemic, NCH, like many health care providers, experienced significantly higher costs related to staffing. The $2,000,000 in ARP grant funds will serve as partial reimbursement to those expenses covering increased staffing ratios, higher costs due to overtime, and other expenses NCH incurred caring for those afflicted by the virus.
