This dedication is further exemplified by the opening of the $265 million R.M. Schulze Family Heart and Stroke Critical Care Center at the NCH Baker Downtown campus. This cutting-edge facility integrates seamlessly with existing cardiovascular programs, ensuring comprehensive and innovative care.
The Rooney Heart Institute Fund also supports expanding critical care services, including the addition of four state-of-the-art operating rooms and over 20 cardiac intensive care units.
