NAPLES, Fla. – August 8, 2023 We appreciate the many businesses and organizations of our community that invest resources into improving safety for their employees and customers. The NCH Healthcare System is a valued partner in providing safe environments for their healthcare professionals and their patients. We routinely work with the NCH Healthcare System Security and Emergency Management team by delivering critical training curriculum such as active shooter response for staff members. We have exercised our emergency response procedures at a variety of NCH Healthcare System campuses so that our deputies are familiar with the floor plans, layouts and equipment at each facility. We continue to work together in these important and innovate ways to keep Collier County a great and safe place.
We also appreciate that NCH Healthcare System has committed to investing in security technologies that are compatible and interoperable with the capabilities of our Real-Time Operations Center. This integration allows for a faster and more comprehensive response in emergency incidents.
