Lauren Riccardi
Lauren Riccardi DPT, OCS, MBA
Lauren Riccardi earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Springfield College in Springfield MA in 2014. She started her career at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, where she went on to complete an Orthopedic Residency program, earning her Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Lauren then received her MBA in Healthcare Administration, as she is passionate about helping all members of the healthcare system deliver the highest level of care, at the top of their scope. Lauren is a Massachusetts native who moved to Florida with her family in 2024. She enjoys spending time outside or on the water with her two children and husband.
Megan Lyons
Megan Lyons
Megan Lyons, PT, DPT, OCS, is the Rehabilitation Manager at HSS at NCH, where she oversees clinical operations and drives excellence in patient-centered orthopedic care. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Scranton and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Mercy College. As a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), Megan brings advanced expertise in the management of musculoskeletal conditions.
Megan’s clinical background spans acute care, ambulatory surgery, perioperative education, and virtual outpatient services. Prior to her current role, she practiced at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan, where she cultivated deep experience in high-level orthopedic rehabilitation and evidence-based clinical practice.
In her leadership at HSS at NCH, Megan is dedicated to optimizing the entire patient journey from preoperative preparation through postoperative recovery by promoting individualized, high quality care. She is committed to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and continually refining rehabilitation protocols to enhance clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and the overall patient experience.
Outside of her professional work, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and reading.
Patrice Brown
Patrice Brown PT, DPT
Patrice Brown PT, DPT is an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Resident at HSS at NCH in Naples, Florida, with nine years of clinical experience. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Florida A&M University in 2017.
Patrice began her career as a travel physical therapist with AMN Healthcare, where she practiced for four years across a variety of outpatient orthopedic settings, including privately owned clinics, corporate practices, and hospital-based facilities. She also brings additional experience in inpatient, neurological care, and vestibular rehabilitation, allowing her to provide comprehensive, patient-centered treatment.
Her clinical interests include orthopedic rehabilitation and movement-based interventions. Patrice has training in the Graston Technique, the McKenzie Method, and LSVT BIG for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. She is currently pursuing advanced orthopedic training through her residency, with a particular focus on working with performing artists. She has developed a strong appreciation for the unique physical demands of this population and is passionate about helping them achieve optimal performance and longevity in their craft.
Patrice is committed to delivering high-quality, individualized care and continually advancing her clinical skills to better serve her patients.
Sara Cardona
Sara Cardona
I earned my DPT degree from Columbia University and am also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). I love helping people get back to the activities that make them feel strong and confident, whether that’s returning after surgery, rehabbing from an injury, or building back into sport and recreational lifting pain free.
I especially enjoy working with athletes and active individuals who want to bridge the gap between rehab and performance. My goal is to create programs that not only help people recover but also prepare them to move, lift, and perform at their best.
I grew up in Naples and am excited to be back serving the community that shaped me.
Diane Carroll
Diane Carroll
Diane Carroll is a dedicated physical therapist with a strong background in orthopedic care. She earned her master’s degree from Duquesne University and has been committed to helping patients improve their mobility and quality of life throughout her career. Diane relocated to Naples FL with her family in 2005. In 2018, she achieved board certification as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy reflecting her advanced expertise and commitment to excellence in patient care. Outside of work Diane enjoys boating, fishing, swimming and paddleboarding with her two sons and husband, making the most of Florida’s beautiful waterways.
William Confer
William (Bill) Confer
Bill earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University. Bill served as an Adjunct Professor teaching doctoral students at Florida International University and has enjoyed being a Clinical Instructor with multiple PT and PTA programs. His clinical emphasis is in orthopedics, neck and back pain, and manual therapy. Bill is a board-certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedics (OCS) and a Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist with the Ola Grimsby Institute (COMT). He is also certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy by the McKenzie Institute (Cert. MDT) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Bill has lived in Naples for over 20 years and enjoys working out, playing pickleball, and traveling to the mountains whenever possible.
Molly Gagnon
Molly Gagnon
I am an acute care physical therapist at HSS at NCH. I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts. I am passionate about helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence during the acute phase of recovery, with a focus on safe transition home. I create individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s unique goals and take pride in building meaningful, supportive relationships throughout the recovery process.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and staying active.
Andrew Panciroli
Andrew Panciroli PT, DPT
Andrew Panciroli PT, DPT graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a BA in Biological Sciences. Andrew received his DPT degree from New York Medical College in 2017. Prior to joining the HSS at NCH Physical Therapy Outpatient team, Andrew spent the first 8 years of his PT career working for STARS Rehabilitation of Northwell Health in Manhasset, New York. Andrew was the site supervisor and oversaw day-to-day operations of the clinic for 4 years. Andrew’s clinical focuses are post-operative rehabilitation, joint replacements, shoulder injury rehabilitation and sports injury rehabilitation. Andrew also has experience working with concussion return to play, vestibular diagnoses. Andrew completed a sports mentorship program under the guidance of Team Physical Therapists for Hofstra University. Andrew is looking forward to expanding his clinical skillset and excited to join the HSS at NCH Team.
David Perez
David Perez
David Perez is a rehab technician with a background in healthcare coordination, patient services, and clinical support. He has experience assisting with therapy sessions, managing equipment and inventory, and working alongside medical teams in both hospital and rehab settings. His prior roles in patient coordination and medical operations allow him to support efficient, well-organized care throughout the rehabilitation process. Outside of work, David enjoys playing soccer, spending time with his two kids and wife, and being involved in his church community. He is also fluent in English and Spanish.
Brielle Penzo
Brielle Penzo
Born and raised on Marco Island, Brielle is proud to serve her local community through HSS at NCH. As a Rehab Tech, she supports the therapy team in cultivating a positive and encouraging environment that helps patients work toward their recovery goals. In addition to clinical experience, Brielle is a yoga instructor and volunteer at Naples Therapeutic Riding Center, where she integrates her mindfulness and wellness approach into patient care. She is passionate that patients feel comfortable, supported, and empowered throughout their recovery journey. Brielle is currently applying to graduate school to further her education and advance her career in occupational therapy, with the goal of continuing to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life.
Morgan Severe
Morgan Severe, PT, DPT, OCS
Morgan Severe, PT, DPT, OCS, is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist at HSS at NCH with over 12 years of clinical experience. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University in 2013. Her passion for science, sports, and exercise inspired her commitment to helping others move well and stay active. Morgan specializes in orthopedic and sports-related injuries, with a particular focus on knee pathologies such as ACL injuries and patellar instability. Her clinical focus includes return-to-sport rehabilitation, with a dedication to helping athletes of all ages safely and confidently resume the activities they enjoy. Morgan is dedicated to evidence-based, individualized care that empowers patients through education, functional movement, and long-term performance strategies.
Eric Wortman
Eric Wortman, OTR/L, CHT
With extensive experience in upper extremity rehabilitation, Eric Wortman specializes in the evaluation and treatment of traumatic and multi-trauma injuries involving complex orthopedic and neurologic conditions. He provides comprehensive care for both conservative and post-surgical cases, serving a broad patient population that spans competitive athletes to the geriatric community.
Eric holds certification as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) with an additional specialty certification in neurologic upper extremity motor rehabilitation. His clinical practice adheres to the highest standards of evidence-based care, integrated with an individualized approach to treatment that prioritizes measurable functional outcomes and patient satisfaction. He has shared his expertise as a guest speaker at professional conferences and in collaboration with university programs, further reflecting his commitment to advancing the field.
Eric's dedication to clinical excellence and patient-centered care has earned him formal recognition for outstanding customer service in the South Florida region - a testament to his commitment to the overall well-being of each patient he serves.
Paul Zavala
Paul Zavala OTR/L, CHT
Paul Zavala OTR/L, CHT is a licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist specializing in the treatment of upper extremity conditions, fabrication of custom orthoses and racquet sports rehab.
Paul pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida and earned his Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Nova Southeastern University. Upon graduation, he received advanced training in rehab of the upper extremity along with fabrication of custom orthoses resulting in obtaining the advanced certification of hand therapy credential. Paul also holds certifications in Kinesio-taping, Wound Care, and Graston Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. He has a background in racquet sports as a prior United States Professional Tennis Association teaching professional and a Certified Personal Trainer. Paul is bilingual in Spanish and English.
His background is deeply rooted in Upper Extremity Rehab. He has been published multiple times in the field and lectured at Universities and Conferences regarding upper extremity orthopedic rehabilitation. He enjoys advancing his specialty with innovations for rehab and his creativity with custom orthoses. His interests included enjoying time with his family, fishing, pickleball, tennis, jogging and working out.
Paul is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and American Occupational Therapy Association.
