Aubrey Rogers High School

Aubrey Rogers High School

Aubrey Rogers High School is a public, state-of-the-art secondary school located in North Naples, Florida, which officially opened its doors in August 2023 as part of the highly ranked Collier County Public Schools district. Spanning a 60-acre campus off Veterans Memorial Boulevard, the roughly $100 million facility features five dedicated career academies (Engineering, Health Sciences, Information Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Law), a 4,000-seat stadium, and a multi-story layout designed to preserve surrounding Southwest Florida wetlands. The school is named in honor of the late Collier County Sheriff Aubrey Rogers—a pioneer who famously established the district’s youth relations deputy program in 1977—and its athletic teams compete as the Patriots wearing red and blue.

Avow Hospice

Avow Hospice

Avow Hospice is a prominent, Southwest Florida-based nonprofit healthcare organization headquartered in Naples, Florida, that specializes in providing compassionate end-of-life care, non-hospice palliative care, and comprehensive grief and loss support. Founded in 1983 by community volunteers as Collier County’s very first hospice facility, it has grown into one of the largest specialized hospice operations in the United States, serving patients of all ages from infants to seniors across Collier, Lee, Hendry, and Glades counties. Operating from its main campus on Whippoorwill Lane—which features the Frances Georgeson Hospice House inpatient center—the mission-driven organization relies on state-of-the-art medical staff, specialized therapists, and a robust network of volunteers to offer 24/7 physical comfort, emotional counsel, and dedicated veteran programs.

Boston Red

Boston Red Sox Spring Training

Boston Red Sox Spring Training takes place annually from mid-February through late March at JetBlue Park at Fenway South, a state-of-the-art, 11,000-seat stadium complex located in Fort Myers, Florida. Opened in 2012, the facility is famously nicknamed “Fenway South” because it replicates the distinct dimensions and unique characteristics of Boston’s historic home field, most notably featuring its own 211-foot-long Green Monster left-field wall complete with a manual vintage scoreboard. The sprawling Grapefruit League complex features six full-sized practice fields, a wave-like roof canopy designed to shade 70% of the crowd, and unique seating sections built directly inside and on top of the left-field wall, drawing tens of thousands of New England and local Southwest Florida baseball fans every season.

Community Blood Center

Community Blood Center

The NCH Community Blood Center is a vital, non-profit medical utility operated as an affiliate of Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH) that serves as the primary supplier of life-saving blood and blood products to local hospitals. Operating under the localized mandate that “what’s collected here, stays here,” 100% of the blood, plasma, and platelet donations gathered by the center remain within the Southwest Florida community to directly benefit regional trauma victims, surgical patients, and individuals fighting cancer or chronic illness. In addition to deploying a fleet of signature blue-and-white Community Bloodmobiles for mobile donation drives at regional businesses, clubs, and schools, the center runs a state-of-the-art branch office on the first floor of the NCH Business Center on Immokalee Road.

The NCH Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition of Collier County is a data-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and community partnership sponsored by Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH) that is dedicated to reducing accidental childhood injuries and fatalities. Founded in 2010, the coalition unites more than 70 public, private, and civic organizations—including regional law enforcement, fire districts, and schools—to target the leading preventable health threats to local youth. The organization concentrates its resources on three primary pillars: drowning prevention (utilizing its signature “Layers of Protection” and “Kids Don’t Float” life jacket loaner stands), safe infant sleep (to reduce Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Syndrome/SUIDS), and combating childhood obesity through physical fitness and nutritional advocacy.

NCH Stroke Warriors Support Group

The NCH Stroke Warriors Support Group is a dedicated community outreach initiative operated by Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH) to provide free emotional encouragement, educational resources, and social connection for stroke survivors and their caregivers in Collier County. Overseen by clinical experts from NCH’s Wingard Stroke Institute—the only Joint Commission-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in the region—the group meets periodically at the NCH Baker Hospital Telford Building and the NCH North Naples Campus Brookdale Building. The meetings offer a safe space for families to share recovery experiences, build long-term resilience, and learn about the latest neurological therapies and stroke-prevention strategies directly from visiting healthcare advocates.

NCH Walk Club

NCH Walk Club

The NCH Walk Club—commonly integrated through the specialized fitness programming at the NCH Wellness Centers—is a community-focused preventative health initiative operated by Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH) to promote cardiovascular fitness, active aging, and social connection in Collier County. Drawing on the hospital system’s broader commitment to lifestyle medicine, the walking classes and groups utilize outdoor venues—such as area parks and local beaches—to guide participants through low-impact cardio workouts designed to be gentle on joints while building stamina. Managed by certified fitness instructors from NCH’s Briggs and Whitaker wellness facilities, these outdoor walking networks serve as an accessible entry point for residents looking to lower blood pressure, manage stress, and transition into structured exercise routines under a trusted healthcare umbrella.
