Specialized pediatric sedation treatment for diagnostic procedures
Children receive sedation more frequently than adults largely due to diagnostic procedures that require limited or minimal movement in a controlled setting.
Nicklaus Children’s Health System and our specially trained nursing staff provides safe and effective pediatric moderate sedation for a variety of these tests including MRI, CT Scans, EEGs and other procedures for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
