NCH Center for Philanthropy
Because of the generosity of so many, the 2019 Hospital Ball raised more than $2.1M to fund the $35 million expansion and modernization of the Emergency Department at NCH Baker Hospital Downtown, and to date, $24M has been raised toward the project.

About the Hospital Ball
Since the first NCH Hospital Ball in 1958, philanthropic support from our community has had a transformational effect on the growth of NCH; from a small nonprofit 50-bed hospital, to a nationally recognized 713-bed, two hospital healthcare system. Specifically, proceeds from the annual Ball allow NCH to advance patient care initiatives and provide life-saving services in a number of critical areas including; cardiology, stroke, pediatrics and emergency care.
