Award-Winning NCH Heart Institute to Host Second Annual Cardiovascular Summit in February 2023

NAPLES, Fla. – December 7, 2022 Committed to providing the highest quality of cardiovascular care for nearly 25 years in Southwest Florida, the award-winning NCH Heart Institute of the NCH Healthcare System is proud to partner with Northwestern Medicine in inviting you to come for the education, and stay for the weather in Naples, Florida as we present the second annual “Naples Cardiovascular Summit: Advances in Cardiology for Primary Care,” on February 24 and 25, 2023 at the Naples Grande Beach Resort.

The two-day Naples Cardiovascular Summit is targeted to primary care physicians and clinicians, nurses and first responders, and features renowned physicians, Robert Cubeddu, MD of the NCH Heart Institute and Patrick McCarthy, MD of Northwestern Medical as course directors. NCH’s Viviana Navas, MD and Northwestern’s Mazen Albaghdadi, MD serve as co-directors.

“We are excited to partner with Northwestern and are proud to offer this forum to exchange ideas that showcase the latest in cardiovascular care,” said Dr. Robert Cubeddu, President of the NCH Heart Institute. “I am confident the information presented at this year’s summit will increase awareness in cardiac care and result in higher quality outcomes for cardiac patients.”

The purpose of the two-day event is to expand the knowledge and expertise of physicians, clinicians, nurses and first responders in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Scheduled presentations will be provided by a diversity of faculty from the NCH Healthcare System, the NCH Heart Institute, Northwestern Medicine, Emory Healthcare, Mount Sinai and others. Interactive sessions and key topics to be covered include: coronary artery disease, cardiac disease prevention and treatment, structural and valvular heart disease, and heart failure and cardiomyopathies, cardio-oncology, cardio-obstetrics and women’s heart disease.

Registration is $149 for physicians, $50 for nurses and $75 for other categories. Medical residents and fellows can register for $35 and all attendees are eligible to receive 13 CME or MOC credits.
