Pediatric Services
The NCH pediatric outpatient department is located on the third floor just inside the Robert and Mariann MacDonald Seacareium of the North Collier Hospital.
The outpatient department is a spacious and open area that allows nurses to implement care for their patients in a safe and stress free area where children can relax, read, watch movies or play video games during their visits.
The pediatric clinicians conduct a variety of testing for children “by referral” in our outpatient department. We encourage an adult caregiver to remain with their child during any treatment, allowing us to teach and support family-centered care.
The pediatric outpatient staff looks forward to working with you. Our focus is on personalized service with special attention to providing you and your family with quality care.
Pediatric Sedation
Children receive sedation more frequently than adults largely due to diagnostic procedures that require controlled settings and limited to no movement. Our specially trained nursing staff provides safe and effective pediatric moderate sedation for a variety of these tests including MRI, CAT Scans, EEGs and other procedures.
If you have more questions, contact your pediatrician or call the pediatric outpatient floor at 239-624-5334.
